Walt, I’m reading “Fungi for Dummies” right now and am learning how the carbon cycle works. For a species that is supposed to be at the top of the food chain, we are exceedingly stupid.

Excellent point.
Studies have shown that proper filtration and other efforts to reduce environmental pollution from carbon-based fuels cost less than the health costs of not implementing such controls.
